The International Energy Agency (IEA) estimated that Japan was likely to have imported an additional 11 billion cubic meters of gas last year to offset the reduction in nuclear power generation.
Both will receive clean, carbon-neutral power by utilizing Turboden Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) turbogenerators. Turboden is a Pratt & Whitney Power Systems company, and Pratt & Whitney is a United Technologies Corp. (NYSE:UTX) company.
