Doosan to supply steam turbines to Peru

Doosan Skoda Power has been awarded a contract to supply two steam turbine generators with a total capacity of 110 MW for a new power plant to be built at an oil refinery operated by Petroperú.

The new power plant will be built as part of the Talara Refinery Modernisation (TRM) project. The project aims to modernise and expand the capacity of the Talara refinery to produce gasoline and gas, increase crude oil refining capacity and minimise waste. The TRM project will also enable a reduction in the cost of raw materials processing and ensure energy self-sufficiency for the power plant. This is an important project in the Oil and Gas market in Latin America for the Pilsen-based steam turbine manufacturer.
