LA Turbine joins Honeywell's internet-of-things program

Honeywell  announced today that L.A. 

Turbine 

Corp. and GEA have both joined Honeywell's Connected Plant program to jointly develop and provide solutions and technologies that will help customers minimize unplanned shutdowns and safety risks while optimizing output yields.

By joining the Honeywell Connected Plant program, L.A. 

Turbine

 and GEA can help customers leverage data and insights in their operations along with the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) in one package with Honeywell UOP Russell's modular 

gas

 processing plants.

L.A.

 and GEA are the latest companies to join Honeywell's Connected Plant program, which uses the power of the IIoT to improve the safety, efficiency and reliability of operations in a single plant or across an entire complex. Honeywell recently announced agreements with Flowserve, Dover, Aereon and several other industrial leaders to jointly develop products and services as part of Connected Plant.

For customers who use Honeywell UOP process technology, Honeywell offers several performance services products to leverage its unmatched process and service expertise into the Connected Plant cloud platform.

L.A. 

Turbine

 Corporation manufactures turboexpanders for Honeywell UOP Russell's 

gas

 processing plants. GEA provides custom-engineered refrigeration compressor packages used in Honeywell UOP Russell 

gas

plant applications.
