Greetings. This is Online Editor Tim Lukac reporting the Turbomachinery International News Blast for the week of Jan. 23, 2023.

GE Gas Power and MYTILINEOS secured an order from the Electricity Supply Board of Ireland for the construction of a new gas-fired power plant in Dublin, Ireland. It will be powered by six LM2500 XPRESS gas turbines delivering up to 200 MW.

Consolidated Asset Management Services is introducing its Strategic Control Services. It provides 24/7 remote coverage of power generation assets and includes multiple redundancies to ensure operational reliability.

Flowserve is releasing the new DMX Axially Split Multistage Pump. It can be utilized for carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) systems, pipelines, and biofuel charge processes. The DMX pump effectively handles high pressure and temperature in oil and gas, chemical processing, and power generation.
