2.4 GW Power Plant in China

GE supplying equipment and servicing

GE and Chinese state-owned power utility Guangdong Energy signed a long-term service agreement for Dongguan Ningzhou power plant, which is powered by three advanced GE 9HA.02 gas turbines. GE is also providing services to 10 GE aeroderivative gas turbines which currently power China Huadian (CHD). The three units successfully arrived in Dongguan City last year. Dongguan Ningzhou Power Plant is expected to produce the equivalent of 4 million households of electricity. The agreement with Guangdong Energy includes spare parts supply, unit maintenance, technical support, and on-site services for up to 18 years. The plant will add 2.4 GW of power to the Guangdong province.
