Centrax recently announced that it has won a new order for the supply of two CX501-KB7 generator set packages to Nobel Oil in Russia. The two outdoor packages will be located at an oil and gas facility in the Yuzhno-Oshkoye Field which is located in Russia's Komi Republic, approximately 1,000 kilometers northeast of Moscow. The 5.2 MWe generator sets will each be used to power the oil extraction plant at the site, and will be powered by associated gas from the oil production process, significantly reducing quantities of gas flared at site.
