ETW Energietechnike Upgrades Biogas Systems with Heat Pumps

ETW Energietechnik is improving its biogas upgrading system in the ETW SmartCycle and ETW SmartCool series. The company has integrated a heat pump into the ETW SmartCycle biomethane facility, resulting in reduced electricity consumption and heat waste. The ETW SmartCool liquid CO₂ liquefaction plant can also be augmented with a heat pump that can generate a thermal output of up to 220 kWthermal at 65°C or even up to 450 kWthermal when connected with the liquefaction plant.
