ETW Energietechnike Upgrades Biogas Systems with Heat Pumps
Boosts efficiency and thermal output in SmartCycle and SmartCool series

ETW Energietechnik is improving its biogas upgrading system in the ETW SmartCycle and ETW SmartCool series. The company has integrated a heat pump into the ETW SmartCycle biomethane facility, resulting in reduced electricity consumption and heat waste. The ETW SmartCool liquid CO2 liquefaction plant can also be augmented with a heat pump that can generate a thermal output of up to 220 kWthermal at 65°C or even up to 450 kWthermal when connected with the liquefaction plant.
