The ultrasonic gas flowmeter is ideal for custody transfer applications.
KROHNE’ ultrasonic gas flowmeter, ALTOSONIC V12, is designed for custody transfer applications. It has 12 measuring chords, two of which are diagnostic functions. Once commissioned, it continuously checks the operating status. The positioning of the chords in five horizontal parallel planes compensates for swirl so that it offers reliable measurements, even with highly distorted flow profiles. The gas flowmeter’s diagnostics assess deposits, contamination, and changes in wall roughness, so maintenance appointments can be scheduled accordingly.
