LNA builds cleanest power plant in China

The first comprehensive clean energy station of gas-steam combined circulation and cool-heat-electricity integrated supply in Southwest China – the HUANENG-Liangjiang Gas Turbine project located at Shuitu Hi-tech Industrial Park of Chongqing Liangjiang New Area (LNA), is now under construction.

This is also a major energy project to support the Cloud Computing Centre of Liangjiang New Area, and the two gas turbines are to be put into service in June and August 2014, respectively.

The HUANENG-Liangjiang Gas Turbine project is an important part of Chongqing’s 10-million-kilowatte power supply project which will provide Shuitu Hi-tech Industrial Park with stable supply of cool, heat and electricity. Recently, the heat-supply agreements of intention have been contracted by PKU Founder, Chongqing YAOPHARMA, and PORTON Fine Chemicals, with the quantity of heat to be used at 120 tons per hour.

The newly settled BOE (Beijing Oriental Electronics) has also raised the steam demand of 50 tons per hour, according to deputy director of Chongqing Development and Reform Commission, Zhan Chengzhi.
