L.A. Turbine ships an L4000 turboexpander to a Dubai-based equipment, procurement and construction (EPC) company for a new natural gas processing plant in the Middle East. This oil-bearing turboexpander-compressor project with remote programmable logic control (PLC) units has been shipped to the plant. The PLC features redundant CPU, power and communication capabilities, multiple safety measures and firewalls, and sophisticated monitoring capabilities.
