Turbomachinery International interviewed Jay Palmer, Account Manager/Technical Sales at Valley Forge & Bolts, at POWERGEN 2024.
What are you showcasing at this year's show?
James Palmer: "This year at POWERGEN we’re showcasing load-indicating fasteners and the ability to hit design clamp load on any type of fastener."
What are your top takeaways from this year's show?
James Palmer: "I’m rather surprised that we’ve not seen the larger producers here. Typically, in the past there were some large booths with Siemens, Mitsubishi, and so forth. We have not seen that for the past couple years. Beyond that though, we had some good activity prior to lunch today, so things were moving pretty well."
