Ansaldo Energia has completed all further sanitization works at its plant in Genova, in full compliance with the Protocol between the Government, Confindustria and the Social Partners of March 14.
Although the conditions exist to resume production activities, the company, citing a sense of responsibility towards its workers and Italy, has decided to extend the closure for a further week, restarting production Monday 30 March, thus helping to reduce the number of people circulating.
The company will guarantee its operational continuity through targeted Smart Working activities and specific service activities on power plants, to ensure full plants’ operation so power service continues during this period of emergency.
The company has promised to resume full operations once the emergency is over so it complies with contractually scheduled deliveries. Ansaldo Energia thanks all the personnel who in these days, with dedication and a sense of responsibility, have worked in the factory for the preparatory works for full production recovery.
