Atlas Copco Gas has been acquiring company after company over the last few months. And it recently added two more. The most recent one being Soft2tec, a German company that manufactures and delivers camera-based tracking systems used for operator guidance in the automotive, aerospace, and general industries. The products increase quality in production and are sold under the brand name Nexonar.

Soft2tec GmbH is a privately owned company based in Rüsselsheim am Main, Germany, and has 38 employees. The acquired business will become part of the Desoutter Business Line within the Chicago Pneumatic Tools division which is part of the Industrial Technique Business Area.

“Tracking systems in combination with data collection helps our customers improve production quality and productivity”, said Henrik Elmin, Business Area President, Industrial Technique, Atlas Copco. “The Nexonar products are complementary to our current offering and will strengthen our portfolio within smart manufacturing”.

The second acquisition is HHV Pumps, founded in 2009 and based in Bengaluru, India.
