Howden is supplying four KA compressors to the Central Wastewater Treatment Plant, responsible for cleaning 330 million gallons of water every day in Nashville, Tennessee. The order includes two KA44SV-GL315 and KA66SV-GL400 blowers. Howden customized the equipment to the plant’s specifications, improving aeration system efficiency while reducing energy use. KA turbocompressors provide oxygen in the aeration process, enabling reclaimed waste to become fertilizer at its biosolids facility. The Nashville Central Wastewater Treatment Plant requires reliable aeration to deliver clean water.
