Gasgrid Finland is constructing a new LNG terminal vessel in Fortum’s deep-water port in Inkoo, Finland. The terminal vessel plays a major role in the development of the gas markets in Finland and the Baltics. Commercial rules of the terminal ensure fair treatment for all market operators. Gasgrid Finland drew up the rules in collaboration with market participants.
New port structures will be constructed concurrently in Finland and Estonia. If the structures in Estonia complete first, the vessel can be temporarily located there for the first winter until the structures in Inkoo complete. The schedule and situational snapshot will become clearer as the construction progresses.
