Schneider Electric Launches Zeigo Sustainability Software

The new platform aims to streamline sustainability for businesses of all sizes.

Schneider Electric has introduced Zeigo, a sustainability software designed to simplify sustainability for businesses of varying sizes. Zeigo will supplement Schneider Electric's existing sustainability consulting services and expand their portfolio of digital solutions. The platform incorporates existing Schneider Electric digital sustainability tools and software-as-a-service (SaaS) application, Zeigo Activate, which can help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) pursue decarbonization.

Zeigo Activate aims to support SMEs in measuring their emissions baseline, setting reduction targets, and assisting in decarbonization efforts by providing the tools and knowledge needed. SMEs are increasingly encouraged to decarbonize due to customer demands for reduced Scope 3 emissions throughout the value chain and evolving global regulatory and compliance requirements.

Steve Wilhite, President of Schneider Electric's Sustainability Business, stated, "Many barriers have kept SMEs from decarbonizing, including lack of awareness, the availability of pragmatic tools, and limited access to resources. Zeigo Activate levels the playing field for these companies by providing easy, actionable solutions."

Zeigo Activate complements two existing Schneider Electric digital offerings, now rebranded under the Zeigo name, to meet the carbon reduction needs of organizations of any size. Zeigo Power, previously known as Zeigo, enables users across Europe to digitally tender renewable energy Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), simplifying clean energy procurement. The Zeigo Network, formerly known as NEO Network, connects over 600 global corporate members striving for decarbonization, offering access to educational resources, community connections, and a solutions provider marketplace for the energy transition.

Organizations of any size can use Zeigo tools to address climate challenges, including reducing energy consumption and emissions, gaining access to energy market intelligence and education, and connecting to regional solution providers in renewables, energy efficiency, and carbon offsets.

Wilhite expressed enthusiasm about the platform's potential, saying, "Zeigo puts the power of decarbonization into the hands of all organizations, and we're excited to see how this ecosystem will accelerate the global net zero pursuits of all of our clients."
