Vattenfall, Havfram Enter Agreement for Norfolk Projects

The contract selection process has finalized for the United Kingdom Norfolk wind projects, which includes the transportation and installation of materials and equipment over a period of 3 years.

Vattenfall has chosen Havfram Wind as its preferred supplier for the installation of wind turbines at its Norfolk projects in the United Kingdom. The contract will last for three years and involves transportation and installation tasks using one of Havfram Wind's recently constructed NG20000X Jack-Up Wind Turbine Installation Vessels (WTIV) equipped with a 3,200-ton crane. The operations are set to start in the spring of 2027.

Havfram Wind offers offshore wind installation expertise to the global market as the owner and operator of Wind Turbine Installation Vessels (WTIVs).

The Norfolk Boreas and Norfolk Vanguard projects are noteworthy due to their multi-GW capacity and substantial contribution to the UK's renewable energy market.
