Ansaldo bags service agreements for Siemens turbines in Russia

Yuzhnouralskaya GRES, a branch of Inter RAO Electrogeneration JSC, awarded to Ansaldo Energia a five-year Long Term Service Agreement for their Yuzhnouralskaya GRES-2 combined cycle power plant, which is located approximately 100 kilometers south of Chelyabinsk, Russia.

Commissioned in November 2014, the 430 MW power plant has two Siemens SGT5-4000F gas turbines, two Siemens SGEN5-2000H generators and two Siemens SST5-3000 steam turbines in one-on-one single shaft configuration. The maintenance agreement covers all this equipment.

Another five-year Long Term Service Agreement was recently awarded to Ansaldo Energia by OAO Fortum for its Tyumen CHP-1 combined cycle power plant. Located in Tyumen in Western Siberia, this combined heat and power plant has one Siemens SGT-1000F (V64.3A) and one Ansaldo Energia AE64.3A gas turbine.

Ansaldo Energia’s service business now includes more than 20 gas turbines under contract in the past five years.
