Siemens officials have local media that the Dresser-Rand facility in North Olean will continue to function. The site has been deemed essential and could serve in keeping the energy infrastructure functioning efficiently across the US. A New York State directive had ordered that all non-essential businesses should be shuttered.
Anti Covid measures such as social distancing and robust cleaning have been implemented at the site.
