FS-Elliott Expands Polaris Line With High-Capacity P750 Centrifugal Compressor

FS-Elliott's new Polaris P750 nearly doubles the flow capacity of its former flagship, targeting mining, chemical, and semiconductor customers with oil-free air.

FS-Elliott has introduced the Polaris P750 centrifugal compressor, the highest-capacity model yet in its Polaris line.¹ The launch is part of FS-Elliott's 2026 Innovation Series, a rollout of new compressor solutions the company says is aimed at broadening application coverage and simplifying ownership.¹

A Step Up From the P700

The P750 delivers flow capacities from 12,800 to 22,100 CFM at discharge pressures up to 150 psig, and produces ISO 8573-1 Class 0 oil-free air.¹ That range nearly doubles the P700's top-end flow of 12,000 CFM and moves the Polaris line into a 3,000–5,000 hp power band, up from the P700's 1,000–2,750 hp.² FS-Elliott is positioning the new model for higher-volume applications in mining, chemical processing, industrial gases, steel and metals production, electronics, and semiconductor manufacturing.¹

"Our goal was to provide customers with a higher-capacity compressor that is just as straightforward to operate and maintain as the rest of the Polaris lineup," said David Miller, Product Manager at FS-Elliott. "The P750 builds on the strengths of the Polaris platform while preserving the features and operating experience customers have come to expect."¹

Maintenance-Focused Design

The P750 carries over the Polaris line's serviceability features: a horizontally split gear case and a fully removable airend allow internal inspections and maintenance without disconnecting process piping, while split bearing and seal designs are intended to further cut maintenance time and lifecycle ownership costs.¹ The compressor also integrates FS-Elliott's Regulus Control System, which adds energy management, predictive maintenance notifications, flexible communication options, and optional FS-Connect remote monitoring.¹

The P750 is available globally through FS-Elliott's network of factory-trained channel partners for commissioning, service, and technical support.¹

Part of a Broader Product Push

The P750 is FS-Elliott's third major Polaris launch in roughly two years, following the P650 in late 2024 and the dual-inlet P650 DF in mid-2025 — each step widening the line's flow-and-footprint options rather than simply refreshing an existing frame. The P750 extends that push into higher-volume, lower-footprint oil-free compression, a segment increasingly shaped by customers looking to scale single-train capacity rather than add redundant smaller units. Whether FS-Elliott follows with a dual-flow variant of the P750, as it did with the P650, remains to be seen.
