Indian KirloSmart PMS Additions

Pune, India-based Kirloskar Brothers Ltd (KBL) is introducing a new version of its IoT (Internet of Things) based pump monitoring system KirloSmart. The system enables remote monitoring and troubleshooting of pumps in real-time, predict and take corrective measures, and maintain consistent performance metrics. This is achieved by transmitting the pump's parameters on KBL’s portal.

The KirloSmart technology predicts issues leading to pump failure. A KirloSmart-enabled system helps in monitoring pump health by sensing health parameters of the pump. It also assists in diagnosis and resolution. Alerts and notifications can be sent through short message service (SMS), email, and mobile push notifications.

Hardware used in the KirloSmart is both 4G and 5G compatible. It offers wireless solutions for hazardous areas and has battery-operated wireless sensors with ATEX/IECEx and PESO certifications. KBL’s KirloSmart works in situations where bandwidth is limited. One SIM card can manage multiple units.
