Doosan Heavy Industries has made changes in the top management of its subsidiary, Doosan Škoda Power, in keeping with what it has called the "long-term unfavourable situation in the power industry market". Sukjoo Kang replaced the long-time General Director, Jiří Šmondrk.
Doosan Heavy Industries (DHI) is planning to restructure and reorganize its subsidiaries around the globe to ensure their future growth, reported Hongook Park, the General Director of the Power Service BG division at DHI. Despite the changes in human resources in the Pilsen plant, he believes that the company is with its new management in good hands.The current General Director, Jiří Šmondrk assumed this position in 2010. Sukjoo Kang works within the Doosan Group as the CFO at Doosan Babcock and the chairman of the Board of Directors at Doosan Power Systems.Following the changes in the top management at Doosan Škoda Power, a position of Chief Operational Officer (COO) was created, which has been assumed by Daniel Procházka.
