Russell Thompson will lead the growth and development of global business.
TAS Energy, a company providing clean economic power, has promoted Russell Thompson to Vice President of Industrial Business announced Mike Brady, President of TAS Energy. Based in Houston, Thompson first joined TAS Energy in 2008 as Director of Industrial Business.
In his new role, Thompson will lead the growth and development of global business within the power generation industry, focusing on providing customers with efficiency solutions such as TAS Energy's patented Turbine Inlet Chilling (TIC) and Generation StorageT packaged solutions. He will continue to lead TAS Energy's Industrial team including the external channels to market in combination with product management and engineering efforts associated with the TIC business.
Prior to joining TAS Energy, Thompson served in technical, sales and commercial leadership roles in the power industry with companies such as GE Energy and Stewart & Stevenson. He has over 18 years of experience in building and maintaining relationships across the global power industry, traveling to over 30 countries outside of the United States in support of power projects.
