Arabelle Solutions signed a 10-year service collaboration agreement with the Dongfang Electric Corp. to service and maintain units 1 and 2 at the Taishan nuclear power plant. Per the agreement, Arabelle Solutions will handle the plant’s 1,750-MW steam turbine and related equipment, including the turbogenerator, condenser, low-pressure heater, and moisture separator reheater. Also, Bechtel selected Arabelle to supply a nuclear steam turbine, GIGATOP 2-pole generator, and associated auxiliaries and controls for TerraPower’s Natrium plant in Kemmerer, WY.
Baker Hughes and Glenfarne Alaska LNG recently formed a strategic alliance to advance the Alaska LNG project. Per the agreement, Baker Hughes will supply main refrigerant compressors for its LNG terminal and power generation equipment for the North Slope gas treatment plant, in addition to making an investment to support Alaska LNG.
