TurboTime Podcast: Part 1 - Compressing CO2

CO₂ can be captured pre-combustion or post-combustion (from the flue gas), and it then must be transported in a pipeline in which it would have to be re-pump or compressed, and then put into the ground at a geological site. The Myth Busters flesh out this process and explain in detail the process of pumping/compressing CO₂ and how it plays into the hydrogen discussion. They also discuss why is it so important to know about the supercritical state of CO₂ and the differences between SCO₂ and CO₂.
