Colfax gets Doosan's Saudi order

Colfax Fluid Handling, a business of Colfax Corporation, has announced a contract with Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction Co. Ltd. to provide pumps for the Rabigh Power Plant #2 (Saudi Arabia) Power Station Stage 6 Expansion. Colfax Fluid Handling supplies fluid-handling solutions for critical applications.
Under the agreement, Colfax will provide 38 pumps to support the 2,800 MW oil-fired power plant. Colfax two-screw pumps will be used to unload, transfer and boost oil within the process while the progressive cavity pumps will be used in sump or slurry applications. The pumps were selected from the Colfax portfolio because of the hydraulic and mechanical advantages provided in the respective applications.
