EthosEnergy Abu Dhabi to Handle Repairs, Maintenance for Roots Systems
Roots Blowers Systems manufactures displacement blowers engineered to deliver a steady volume of air with each rotation.
Roots Blower Systems (RBS) selected EthosEnergy Abu Dhabi as its designated repair facility and partner for operations across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). Further expanding its industrial service capabilities, EthosEnergy will provide specialized maintenance and repair for RBS’s high-performance blower skids to ensure continued operation at peak efficiency.
“We look forward to strengthening our partnership with Roots Systems and continuing to serve our customers across the GCC with the highest standards of service and expertise,” said a spokesperson from EthosEnergy. The company’s expert team offers a full suite of support, including spare parts, maintenance services, and tailored solutions.
RBS’s positive displacement blowers are known for robust designs and consistent performance, engineered to deliver a steady volume of air with each rotation. The blowers are applicable to operations that require reliable airflow under variable pressure conditions, with high reliability and durability ensuring reduced maintenance and minimal unscheduled downtime. These lengthened maintenance intervals make RBS’s products suitable for challenging industrial environments.

TTPP—formerly a dual fuel-fired power plant with natural gas and diesel oil—is now a 213-MW facility equipped with two open-cycle gas turbines, delivering emergency power supply and additional services for Sicily’s electricity grid. Italy’s Grid Authority recently supported the plant’s “Must Run” status and approved the first phase of its asset integrity project, primarily due to its strategic location.
At EthosEnergy’s
According to Engineering Manager Philip Booth, EthosEnergy’s business model focuses on reduced downtime: The engine is built and tested ahead of time and stored as inventory, so it’s available when customers need it. Once installed, the customer’s older engine arrives at the shop for overhaul and the entire process begins again. The “build pits” are the first stop for every machine entering the workshop.
