The new expertise broadens the company’s in-house gas turbine capabilities, including rotor lifetime extension, maintenance, parts and components repairs, field services, and much more.

EthosEnergy successfully acquired intellectual property (IP) to enhance servicing competencies for Frame 9FA.03 gas turbines; specifically, the IP provides a technical foundation to immediately support hot-gas-path components and combustion parts on a global scale. This milestone ensures complete coverage for vital sections within Frame 9FA.03 units, allowing EthosEnergy to reinforce its position as a provider of heavy-duty gas turbine services

The newly acquired IP broadens EthosEnergy’s in-house gas turbine capabilities, including rotor lifetime extension solutions, maintenance, parts and components repairs, field services, optimization, and upgrades. Leveraging over 100 years of experience as the OEM for Fiat and Westinghouse units, EthosEnergy delivers flexible and cost-effective solutions for Frame 3, 5, 6, 7, and 9 gas turbines.

In 2025, the company acquired Turbine Services Limited (TSL) and expanded its access to critical parts and technical resources to improve performance, reliability, and value for EthosEnergy customers. TSL is a 50-year-old New York-based manufacturer and supplier of aftermarket parts for heavy-duty gas and steam turbines. It has a long history of supplying parts to more than 1,000 global customers and is known for engineering, product quality, and as a non-OEM manufacturer of turbine parts.

Gas Compression Support

In September 2025, Spirit Energy awarded EthosEnergy with a five-year contract extension to support its offshore assets in the East Irish Sea, including the North Morecambe Terminal and CPC offshore platform. Under the long-term agreement, EthosEnergy will service gas compression packages through their operational end-of-life, delivering 24/7 offshore and onshore engineering teams, proactive obsolescence management, and life-extension strategies.

The contracted services, expected to maximize asset uptime and reduce overall cost, are evaluated in the seven-figure range with Spirit Energy anticipating six-figure savings across the contractual term. Spirit Energy’s contract arrives as gas reserves decline in the North Sea, allowing EthosEnergy to leverage its cost efficiency, performance, and effective communication within a maturing basin.

Frame 7 Turbines

In July 2025, NOMAC Maintenance Energy Services (NMES), the field service affiliate of Saudi-based ACWA Power, and EthosEnergy signed an agreement to provide end-to-end on-site rotating equipment services via an on-site rotor lifetime assessment and extension (RLE) solution for GE Frame 7E, EA, and FA gas turbines within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

“This partnership is a testament to what’s possible when two industry leaders come together with a shared commitment to innovation and performance,” said Patricia Gonzalez, Executive VP of Optimization Solutions at EthosEnergy. “By combining our technical depth in rotor engineering and manufacturing with NMES’s field execution, we are enabling operators to significantly reduce outage duration, cost, and risk. It’s a positive step for the region’s energy infrastructure, and we are proud to be a part of it.”

NMES and EthosEnergy will offer a fully integrated RLE solution that includes supply of seed rotors (new or certified refurbished); full on-site rotor lifetime assessment and extension; on-site critical non-destructive testing and machining services; parts replacement and recertification; and open/close/inspect the unit as part of a hot gas path or a major inspection.
