Everllence Ships First Rebranded Engine from Augsburg Plant
Key Takeaways
- Shipment of the first Augsburg-made, newly branded engine bearing capped a year-long conversion in which all global sites produced initial Everllence-labeled output.
- Rebranding execution required redesigning and relabeling thousands of parts via new material numbers, upgraded marking workstations, and casting changes coordinated across procurement and production lead times.
The company used a digital process to identify and track branded components throughout the entire supply chain, with prominently labeled components redesigned by engineering.
Everllence has
“This milestone is more than a new logo on an engine, rather it shows how we are transferring our new identity into our daily work and onto our products,” said Martin Oetjen, COO at Everllence. “A significant effort in manufacturing and across the supply chain lies behind this as thousands of components carry our logo—whether cast, engraved, or laser-marked.”
The transition required extensive modifications at the component and production levels. These included assigning new material numbers for branded parts, updating workstations for engraving and laser marking, and converting cast components to reflect the new identity. To manage the process, Everllence used a digital process to identify and track branded components throughout the entire supply chain, with prominently labeled components redesigned by engineering.
The company coordinated procurement and production lead times to maintain delivery schedules, aligning the rollout of the first rebranded engine with existing manufacturing commitments. This production milestone forms part of Everllence’s broader global rebranding initiative, tied to its “Moving Bigs Things to Zero” strategy which focuses on reducing emissions in hard-to-abate sectors, including shipping, power generation, and heavy industry.
Everllence’s portfolio includes engines for marine and power applications capable of operating on climate-neutral fuels, retrofit solutions, large-scale heat pumps, and carbon-capture systems. The Augsburg facility remains a central hub within the company’s global production network, reflecting decades of engine manufacturing expertise and supporting the rollout of new technologies aligned with its decarbonization strategy.
Thai CCS Project
In March 2026, PTT Exploration and Production Public Co. (PTTEP) awarded Everllence a contract to deliver two
The company’s supply scope includes two compressor trains based on RB barrel-type compressors for CO2 handling and reinjection, with both units driven by gas turbines from Solar Turbines and supplied as a closely integrated solution. Additionally, Everllence will supply a comprehensive dynamic process simulation, allowing the compressor systems to operate at full potential regarding process efficiency.
PTTEP’s investment in the Arthrit field represents Thailand’s first large-scale usage of CCS technology and is recognized as a flagship greenhouse gas reduction initiative under the Nationally Determined Contribution Action Plan on Mitigation 2021-2030.
