MTU Power and Amazonas GT have signed a maintenance, repair, and overhaul agreement for five LM6000 turbines
MTU Power and Amazonas GT have signed a ten-year agreement for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of the company’s five LM6000 turbines. Based in Manaus, Northern Brazil, Amazonas GT is a subsidiary of Eletrobras, a Brazilian electric power generation and transmission provider.
On-site technicians are dispatched from MTU’s Brazilian base in São Paulo, whenever the customer requires. The Brazilian facility is certified for workscopes up to level II. Full overhaul services are carried out at MTU’s facility in Berlin-Brandenburg, Germany.
