Oerlikon Balzers, ITP Aero Secure Agreement for PVD Coating on Aero Engine Components

Oerlikon's BALORA TECH PRO coating will be utilized on ITP Aero's components of the Pratt & Whitney Canada PW800 turbofan engine.

Oerlikon Balzers, a brand in the realm of surface solutions, recently secured a decade-long agreement with ITP Aero involving the application of Oerlikon's BALORA TECH PRO. This high-temperature wear-resistant coating will be implemented on the components of the Pratt & Whitney Canada PW800 turbofan engine, which propels the latest Gulfstream G500/G600 and Dassault Falcon 6X business jets. This collaboration will help ITP Aero achieve consistent results within a shorter time span.
