ASME's Turbomachinery Technical Conference & Exposition is expecting over 2,500 attendees.
ASME’s Turbomachinery Technical Conference & Exposition 2025 (Turbo Expo) kicks off today in Memphis, Tennessee, held June 16 – 20 at the Renasant Convention Center. The annual turbomachinery event, themed The Transformative Impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI), explores how AI is revolutionizing engineering fields—from predictive maintenance and design optimization to advanced manufacturing and beyond.
Turbomachinery and propulsion engineering leaders from industry, academia, and government are invited to network and attend any of the more than 1,000 technical presentations, find their next R&D partner, and learn from the tutorials-of-basics sessions covering hydrogen and energy storage, clean combustion and dynamics, heat transfer, and more. The exhibit hall opens on Tuesday, June 17, and closes on Thursday, June 19.
This year’s keynote address, AI & Turbomachinery, on Monday, June 16, will explore how AI is changing the industry. Attendees can engage with top industry leaders, uncover innovations, and gain insights into the future of engineering. They will hear from keynote speakers who are at the forefront of AI, sharing their insights and experiences.
On Tuesday, June 17, the plenary panel, Envisioning the Future of Gas Turbines with AI, is packed with OEMs such as GE Aerospace, Siemens Energy, and Pratt & Whitney. Panelist will provide their perspectives on the current and future vision of working with AI in gas turbine technology. Speakers include:
On Wednesday, June 18, the Celebrating Women in Turbomachinery dinner takes place. The evening provides an opportunity to discuss career strategies, work/life balance issues, and professional leadership approaches for women in engineering. These strategies and more will be the topic of dinner speakers who will provide their work and life experiences. (Note: This is a ticketed event.) Stay tuned for exclusive video interviews with Women in Turbomachinery!
