Vincent Volpe joins eCORP International as Vice Chairman

Vincent Volpe, Jr. will join eCORP International, LLC (eCORP) effective immediately as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors. This was recently announced by eCORP Chairman and CEO John F. Thrash.

Volpe will play a significant role in capital formation while serving as lead in the global launch of ecorpStim, the company's non-aqueous, chemical free extraction technology, together with advancing later stage, historic business lines of the company, including upstream assets, storage and power.

Volpe served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Dresser-Rand Group, Inc. for the past 15 years, until leading its $7.6 billion dollar sale to Siemens during the summer of 2015. He became a member of the company's Board of Directors at the time it was acquired by First Reserve Corporation in October 2004. In August 2005, the Company was taken public and during his 10 year tenure as CEO the Company generated Total shareholder returns in excess of 350%.

Volpe joined Dresser in 1981 and over the past 34 years held positions of responsibility in Engineering, Marketing, and Operations in the USA, Venezuela, Japan, France and the UK. In 1999, he was named Chief Operating Officer, responsible for worldwide manufacturing, technology and supply chain management, serving in that position until September 2000, when he became President and CEO of Dresser-Rand Company.

Volpe is proficient in five languages and earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a BA in German Literature from Lehigh University.  He also serves on the Board of Directors of the FMC Company, as a member of the Audit Committee and Chairman of the Nominating and Governance Committee.
