Atlas Copco Compressors appoints new president
Atlas Copco Compressors LLC has appointed Robert Eshelman as President and General Manager, effective February 2018.
Eshelman is succeeding John Brookshire, who has decided to retire after 33 years of service within the Atlas Copco Group.
In his new position, Eshelman will oversee Atlas Copco Compressors’ customer centre in the US and will be responsible for all Atlas Copco Compressors’ sales, marketing and service operations.
Vagner Rego, President of the Compressor Technique Business Area, said, “Robert has extensive experience in the compressor industry and brings over 10 years of experience in various management positions with Atlas Copco Compressors.”
Eshelman is currently the General Manager of Scales Industrial Technologies, which is part of Atlas Copco Group. Prior to that, he served as the US Vice-President and Business Line Manager of the Industrial Air Division for the US market. Eshelman completed his undergraduate studies in engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and his master’s degree in business administration at Georgia State University.
