- This investment reflects EEE's commitment to the Middle East, boosting regional support and localization efforts.
- Operational by 2027, the new facility will strengthen EEE's end-to-end turbomachinery service capabilities across the region.
“This agreement reflects our long-term commitment to Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East,” said Gregory Bardet, EMA Regional Director of Global Service, Ebara Elliott Energy, who attended the signing ceremony in Abu Dhabi. “We’re investing in the infrastructure and partnerships needed to serve the region more effectively and sustainably.”
EEE is expanding its presence in the Kingdom to better support regional clients and to align with localization targets. Operations at the HSB installation and packaging facility are expected to begin in 2027.
On June 5, EEE announced that it broke ground on a new service center in Abu Dhabi. Situated in KEZAD, the service center features two fully air-conditioned production bays, cranes, and advanced technologies, such as laser welding, a spin pit for impeller repairs, and a cylindrical grinding machine.
“This facility signifies more than just another location—it’s a significant advancement in delivering service directly to our customers in the Middle East and its neighboring areas,” said Nobu Miyaki, Chief Executive Officer of Ebara Elliott Energy. “By making this investment, we are affirming our long-term commitment to the region and ensuring that we will be ready to assist our clients whenever and wherever they need us.”
Operation is set to start in the latter half of 2026. The facility is located on a 14,391-square-mile plot with a built-up area of 6,658 square miles. Once operations begin, the center will provide full-service repairs for compressors, steam turbines, expanders, cryogenic pumps, and API pumps.
And in December, EEE finished renovations and repairs on its New Orleans Service Center. Before full reconstruction, EEE performed temporary repairs to maintain the center’s operations, including roof patches, reinforced walls, and dehumidification in office areas.
