New standards for steam surface condensers released

The Heat Exchange Institute (HEI) has released the 12th edition of Standards for Steam Surface Condensers. The latest edition represents HEI’s continuing program to update its standards to reflect the latest technological advancements in the field of heat exchange equipment.  The new edition may be purchased in electronic or hardcopy format by visiting www.techstreet.com/hei.

This 12th edition of Standards for Steam Surface Condensers primarily updates the previous edition with new revisions and insights on FM tube material, gauge correction factors, pressure design equations, nuclear applications, condenser hotwells, atmosphere relief devices, vacuum breaker valves, condenser tube cleaning, steam inlet expansion joints, waterbox coating, lay-up procedure, and frequently asked questions.

The Heat Exchange Institute (HEI) is a nonprofit trade association committed to the technical advancement, promotion, and understanding of a broad range of utility and industrial-scale heat exchange and vacuum apparatus.
