Elliott Group has been chosen for the manufacture of three compressor trains for Cameron LNG's new LNG Liquefaction export facility in Hackberry, Louisiana. The project includes three natural gas liquefaction trains with an approved export capacity of 12 million tpa. Elliott will supply three duplicate equipment trains with six Elliott centrifugal compressors for cryogenic, end flash gas service.

The new facility will be adjacent to Cameron LNG's existing LNG receipt terminal and regasification facilities. When the new liquefaction facility becomes operational in 2018, it will enable bi-directional service between the terminal and the liquefaction plant.

Brook Tolman, Director of Global Sales said Elliott's “longstanding strength and experience in refrigeration compression, and its ability to meet the challenging process requirements” were instrumental in winning this order. The compressors will be built and tested at Elliott's manufacturing facility in Jeannette, PA.
