New deal brings KA22SV-GL225's to wastewater treatment plant

Howden is signing a contract to supply turbocompressors for a sewage treatment plant Niederrad, which cleans the water for over 750,000 people in Frankfurt, Germany. Howden will supply nine of its KA22SV-GL225 blowers and will also provide repair services.

Howden has provided aeration technology to the plant for more than 20 years and has extensive experience providing solutions for the plant’s performance and efficiency requirements. The equipment is fit with Howden’s Dual Point Control technology which combines inlet guide vanes and diffuser vanes in the turbocompressors to ensure efficiency and performance.

“Howden's range of high-efficiency blowers perform the critical functions required to manage effluent from municipal sewage systems and from many industrial processes”, says Feilim Coyle, Vice President of Global Aftermarket at Howden.

Each customized KA turbo compressor is uniquely made to fit with a plant’s exact specifications, thereby consuming less energy. The quality turbo compressor components promise reliability and minimal maintenance.
