SIL2-capable ST5484E velocity transmitter

Metrix has released a new seismic velocity transmitter.

The Metrix ST5484E is a self-contained, loop-powered seismic velocity transmitter that incorporates a piezo-electric accelerometer, signal integrator, RMS peak detector, and 4-20 mA signal conditioner into a single, robust package. It has been evaluated by an independent third-party agency based on IEC61508 Functional Safety standards and is SIL2 capable.
