Unlocking New Sources of Sustainable Energy from Organic Waste

Northern Biogas is set to enhance its renewable natural gas (RNG) production capabilities by acquiring three new dairy RNG ventures. As a waste-to-RNG enterprise, Northern Biogas works in the development, construction, and management of domestic RNG facilities that generate energy from organic waste. RNG is fully interchangeable with conventional natural gas, and thus can be used as a transportation fuel in the form of compressed or LNG. The procurement of these three sites signifies an expansion in the company's planned RNG project development pipeline. Being located near Northern Biogas' current operations, these RNG facilities are anticipated to commence commercial services by the first quarter of 2024.
